Nar Phu Hidden Valley Trekking - 21 days

    Recommendation for Chandra Subba

My name is Kazik Pichlak. I am a medical doctor, general and oncologic surgeon, with the passion for exploring  all possible  mountains in the world, but particularly Himalaya. In Nepal,   I have been 16 times.
I cooperate with Mr Chandra and his agency Himalayan Icefall Trekking for many years. He arranged for me and my friends 10 trekkings to different parts of Himalaya and Tibet. Some of them  were standard trekkings, but some were very challenging to remote parts of Himalaya or, for example, with the passes above 6000 metres. All of these were always under the wing of Chandra agency.
Twice I had serious health problems. Mr Chandra organized very effective help immediately – evacuation from mountain area by helicopter.
All our trekkings were arranged perfectly. Mr Chandra and his agency’s team are the experts in leading excellent, unforgettable Himalaya trips.
I recommend with all my heart Mr Chandra’s agency. He and his team guarantee the best service when exploring Himalaya.

Nar Phu valley trekking is Nepal's probably the least explored, and remotely located trekking region in the country with full of alluring beauty of nature and also known as the lost valley of Nar and Phu. Nar Phu trek Nepal is located in the Manang district of western Nepal and access is only granted after receiving the special permit. The people from Nar Phu have the historical Tibetan background. The Nar Phu valley trekking consists of mainly two villages, Nar-ten villages and Phu-ten village, and hence it is called Nar Phu valley trekking. Nar-ten village has around 300 residents living in the village with around 86 individual households, whereas Phu village has the population around 210 residents with 36 households. The major source of income of the residents from Nar Phu village is yak and Himalayan goat herding, trading their wool and meat and tourism as well (mainly tea houses and basic lodges). To trek in the Nar Phu valley one should follow the Great Annapurna circuit up to Koto, and then from Koto we leave the Annapurna circuit trail and follow the Nar Phu valley via Meta and Kyang. The Nar Phu valley trekking attractions include the amazing high waterfalls, beautiful ancient monasteries, ruined fort of Khampas (Tibetan refugees), ancient villages of Nar and Phu, the people and their culture, Mountains like Gangapurna, (7454m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III, Annapurna IV (7525m), Chulu West (6419m), Chulu East (6429m), Pisang peak (6092m) and many more. Himalayan Icefall trekking has designed the Nar Phu valley trek combining with the Great Annapurna circuit trail making your trekking memory even memorable. The best time for the Nar Phu valley trekking is during March to May and September to November and the highest elevation within Nar Phu trek is 5320m at the Kang La Pass and the highest elevation of this entire trek is 5416m at the Thorangla pass, which connects Manang with Mustang.
